Camp Days 

 

9:30 am - 3:30 pm

 

Your children will learn new skills through a fun

and engaging curriculum at 
First Harvest Farm including:

 

  • How to communicate and connect with horses

  • Horse anatomy, grooming and caretaking

  • How to use Reiki energy to calm and heal

  • Learn to take an active role in protecting and respecting Mother Earth

  • Expand their imagination through creative exploration in forests and fields

 

Suitable for ages 6-12

 

Specialized and Supportive Leaders

Connect Camp Days are led by retired primary school teacher and Reiki Master, Katherine Fee and Cheri Davidson, Certified FEEL Facilitator (Facilitated Equine Experiential Learning).

 

$47 per child, there will be a minimum of 4 children, maximum 10.

 

Bring your lunch and a snack*. Water and juice will be provided at breaks.
 

*Please pack nut free items. Don't forget to wear closed toe shoes or boots.

Dear Parents, Grandparents and care-takers of little ones ~ I assure you that Katherine Fee and I will take the utmost care with your children. We are parents ourselves and so we understand that entrusting your children to someone for a day is a big decision.

 

We are super excited about hosting these camp days and promise to look after your kids as if they were ours.


My 6 year old son is busy working on the curriculum with us and is excited about making new friends very soon!

What is Reiki?
 

The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki which is "life force energy". So Reiki is actually "spiritually guided life force energy." It is a free gift available to all of us at any time.

 

Children will learn simple methods of using Reiki in their everyday life. They learn self‑care and self‑reliance as they use the energy to help themselves wherever they are, at any time. They also learn valuable lessons in compassion by being able to give healing energy to family, friends and pets as they instinctively lay their hands on those that they want to help. The teachings will help your child to take an active part in their own health and well‑being.

 

Reiki will be practiced on each of the five days. Attend 3 days to have the option of a certified Reiki attunement and certificate.
